A kapcsolóterem több részre van felosztva. Az egyes tételekre kattintva a virtuális MEK bizonyos részei ki- és bekapcsolhatók.
Egy könyvre kattintva levehetjük a polcról és elolvashatjuk a címlapot is. Ez csak akkor igaz, ha a cím látható a gerincen.
"MEK Elek" elindul felénk, ha a testére kattintunk és megszólal, ha a száját sikerül eltalálni! Az ülő alakok (olvasók) vad bólogatásba kezdenek, ha kellő közelségbe érünk.
A gyorsaság érdekében az objektumok messziről csak halványan látszódnak, megfelelő távolság kell a teljes megjelenítéshez.
Van valahol egy egér is ( "MEK Elemér" ), még csak mászkálni tud!

The model has been tested in the combination of Internet Explorer 4.0 and CosmoPlayer 2.0 but it runs under Netscape + Cosmo as well.

The switch room is divided into several sections. Certain parts of the HEL can be switched on and off by clicking on the items.
If you click on a book you can take it from the shelf and you can read the title-page. You can do it only if the title can be see on its spine.
The librarian ("Elek") starts moving towards us if you click on his body and starts speaking if you click on his mouth.
The sitting figures (the readers) start nodding if you approach them. For reasons of speed the objects look palish from far, you need an appropriate distance for complete representation.
There is a mouse ("Elemér") somewhere, he can only walk around as yet.
